-Installed new 3 ton Rheem package unit. Installed 10kw heat kit. Installed new slab, whip and disconnect. Installed new Honeywell pro s200 thermostat. Package unit has been anchored down to new slab. Duct has been reattached and sealed. Ran new drain line into French drain. -10 kw heat is fully operable pulling 42 amps. Cooling is fully operational as well. Balance had been paid in advance. 10 year parts and labor warranty *Client mentioned that he spoken with the office in regards of a $300 check for the inconvenience of having wrong unit last week.*
Completed compressor replacement along with installation of a new filter dryer and a full virgin refrigerant charge of R-454B. Flowed nitrogen while soldering and pressure tested the system at 350 psi for 15 minutes to ensure there were no leaks. Charged the system to proper specifications, and refrigerant levels are on target. The system is cooling with a 19° delta T and heating with a 50° delta T.
Promo tune up Goodman/gas/attic/5ton/410a/odt91f Inspected both inside and outside units. The system was tested in heat and cool modes. I scanned for gas and co. The system cooled with a 19 degree split and heat rise of 44. The drain line was flushed and treated. I walked the duct work and found a few issues leading to the back area. I quoted insulation and added for back living area. The outdoor system was rinsed and tested. The hvac system has two uv lights out, blower and condenser fan are above tolerance, and issues with some of the electrical components as well. I brought all repairs needed and recommendations up to home owners and we built one together. They declined all recommendations and membership statuses. Office waived service fee
Completed replacement of reme halo uv rgf cell along with installation of uv lamp in air handler housing. Ensured both uvs are operating properly.
Master bedroom / kitchen American standard system Customer is having issues in the master bedroom, not getting enough air. Wanted to talk about another supply into the room. I also suggested a passive return as well. Customer said he’ll think about it. Inspecting the air handler customer is using a 4 inch thick filter plus also 1 inch thick filters in the wall. Educated customer that he does not need to do the pleated filters but he could do the fiberglass filters. Customer also put a UV light in the return Plenum. Which does nothing for the system because of the 4 inch thick filter. Also because of the light from the UV light and the four bulbs, there is cardboard in the return blocking airflow to block the light. Recommend getting rid of the UV light in that area and getting a UV light installed into the unit. Pressure and temperatures were good motors and compressor is good. He cleaned my outside unit and the coils and explained to me as he went along how to maintain it properly. I received a report of how everything is working and recommendations for the future to keep my units running properly.
