Performed tuneup and maintenance on both systems for the home prior to summer season.

Not cooling; upstairs unit: - Found system not cooling due to having a poor connection between the board and the 5 amp fuse. The poor connection was the result of a blank thermostat. The fuse was not popped at all, the equipment had proper high and low voltage. I removed the fuse to check to see if it was popped, when I put the fuse back in, thermostat came back online. System was cooling with a 19 degree split. Refrigerant pressures looked a little low, could use a top off. Installation crew most likely never added any additional after the start up process. I noticed the attic was foam insulated. Recommended conditioning the attic space for proper ventilation. Also found that drain line was not insulated at all. I did notice small evidence of condensation dripping onto the sheet rock. Picture has been uploaded to attachments. Also found a short piece of 3/4 inch copper not insulated. I quoted to fully insulate the drain line along with the small section of copper. In order to insulate

No Cool Service Call 2017 Carrier Heat Pump System Troubleshot system. Found that nest thermostat needed to be recalibrated. Connected Mrs. Moore’s phone to the nest app. Condenser fan motor operating but compressor not operating due to failed 45/5mfd capacitor. Also noticed mold growth inside the air handler cabinet. Informed customer of findings and recommendations. Customers approved capacitor and blower compartment cleaning and treatment. Cleaned and treated cabinet. Replaced capacitor . Tested system operations. All system operations good at time of service.
