On arrival customer showed me return where water was dripping I found pvc drain line not glued and basically off inside of flex and dripping the water I also noticed around air handler not sealed…in return it’s soaking wet needs to be redone flooring as well is damaged customer advised me to just repair drain line for now in which I did customer is paid in full Note customer did not want to save card on file for ppm billing

On arrival customer stated all has been working great started off at left side of house airhandler smaller unit verified heating is working up to specs blower motor and capacitor both good ductwork inside is in horrible shape a lot of biological growth I cleared drain line me the out system into ac mode split was fair me pressures seemed did notice superheat fluctuation but it stopped free while me went back to normal told customer we would keep a eye on it amp draw at compressor and fan motor both well up to specs me capacitor reading within its percentile bigger unit right side of house system in heat mode found system performing well up to specs brand new system blower motor nice and clean as well as evaporator coil cleared drain line and turned system into cool mode found split to be excellent and pressures at outdoor condenser were spot on amp draw at compressor and fan motor both performing well and capacitor is reading within its recommended percentile ductwork for this system

Upon arrival, turn system to hitting mode recorded, inducer fan motor, making a very loud, humming noise. Check amp draw, pulled off, inducer fan motor and determined the inside fan blades were very rusted and corroded. Recommended changing inducer fan motor. Called Aces to confirm part was under manufacture warranty. Part is under warranty and will be shipped UPS ground and will call us as soon as it arrives in one to two business days. Customer would also like us to do a heating check up when installing the inducer fan motor. Customer paid in full for labor. .

Thermostat install and system assessment service call 2005 RUUD Air handler, 2012 Payne 2 ton condenser closet Replaced customer provided thermostat. Inspected system. Tested heating operation. All 5kw heating operations good at time of service, drawing 20 amps. Noted blower motor overamping rated not to exceed 1.3A reading at 1.56A. Highly recommend replacing motor before complete failure. Also noted evaporator coil is clogged and corroded. Needs a cleaning but do not necessarily recommend due to age and condition. Tested cooling operation. Noted condenser fan motor is leaking and nearing maximum amperage draw, reading at .46A rated not to exceed .5A. Recommend replacing before failure. Failed 35/5 mfd capacitor reading at 28/1mfd highly recommend replacing. Rusted contactor. Condenser coil is severely corroded compromising the efficiency of the system, elevating the operating temperatures and pressure, increasing the likelihood of the system leaking. System Running without signal service 2014 Trane 4 ton system attic -System running without being called to run - Foamed the attic Troubleshot system. Found the thermostat was set at 75° and it was 68° at time of service. Cooling was operating even though system was 7° colder than actual setpoint. Found that there is intermittent issues between the downstairs thermostat and the zoning board. Customer did inform me that they have power surges and outages regularly, I highly recommend replacing both of these components, and adding surge protection, to protect, and prevent this from reoccurring. Also noted, severe mold and mildew growth on the exterior and interior of the air handler cabinet and duct system with mold, now showing on supply grills. I highly recommend cleaning, treating and adding an air purification system, to prevent the reoccurrence and spread of the growth throughout the home.
