Gave estimates to replace horizontal air handler in attic with 3.5 ton heat pump systems and lifting the heat pump up 2 ft off ground to help to keep dog from damaging unit . Pm check - renewed with office Carrier/heat pump-electric/attic/410a/odt86f The system was tested in heat and cool modes. The heating mode has a restriction at the reversing valve and causing the low pressure to engage the heat strips. The system condenser is extremely corroded and falling apart. The compressor os over amping on every start up in heat or cool modes spiking 78 amps on start up. The contactor is getting stuck and will caus the system to freeze up and damage components. The air handler has build up throughout the cabinet. The restriction of air flow from coil and blower wheel are causing a high static pressure .20 points above design specs. there is build up in the duct work and the supply plenum needs to be rebuilt to include an extension past the last supply tap. After speaking with the home owners they would like an updated system quote and go over financing options. I booked them a comfort advisor appointment today 3-5 to answer all questions they may have. Completed maintenance/ inspection on ac and electric heat. Flushed the drain line tested all electrical components. Checked refrigerant pressures. Found the x13 blower motor is running constantly due to a bad module. The evaporator coil is dirty and keeps dropping dirt on the evaporator coil pan. Coil needs to be pull and cleaned properly. Found the outdoor unit had a burnt wire and need to bc fix to test the system properly. The dual capacitor has visual burn spots. The condenser motor is running almost at its max amperage. The outdoor unit is very fragile due to the outdoor elements. Coil can’t be clean. The disconnect is rusted as well. Customer is going to wait on putting the new thermostat at this time till she gets a quote for full replacement. Customer would like a appointment for Friday.

Pm check up Coleman electric heat with ac 75 ambient temperature Tested system is heating and cooling. Heat strip temperature 40 rise and 16 ac. Flushed drain line and rinse outdoor coil. Contactor is slightly burnt. Recommend serger protectors for indoor and outdoor unit. Customer signed up for Total protection membership. Installed sensors and set up app for customer.
