Found the secondary switch was tripped due to drain line didn’t have a slope. Had to re route the drain line and add a water pump. It was difficult to make the holes for the pvc and wires for water pump. Removed the secondary safety switch. Unit is working properly at this time.

System is freezing up- happened 2 tie now Goodman/410a/closet garage/ odt87f Inspected the unit and found 2 leaks in the air handler. One on the suction line and the housing of the piston metering device. I was unable to run the system for very long to check entire unit. All turned on and are functional however without proper refrigerant could damage the system. The outside unit is out of warranty and there is a year on the air handler. The leaks will not be covered by the parts warranty. I gave all repair options and they decided to take on system quotes. I also inspected the duct work and found the duct work has been taken over by growth. The insulation is below the cross rafters and is not efficient. They will hold off on membership and will meet with our comfort advisor in order to get replacement options . If they do not go with replacing they Weill revert back to repair options. Inspected AC unit in heating mode had a 36° rise through system and in cooling mode had a 17° temp split blower motor is clean And operational within proper amp draw Evap. coil is clean and draining properly flush drain and added solution. Overall the air handler is in good condition. Pressures on condenser are reading well and subcool and superheat are on point the capacitor for the compressor is a 45MFD reading 45.1.MFD compressor reading 8.1 amps within range and fan motor reading 1.3 amps within range of operation. condenser coil looks good. Rinse down unit to remove any yard clippings from coil overall system is operating well and functioning properly at this time.

System tune up Carrier/closet/electric/410a/odt79f Inspected inside and outside units for damages or obstructions. Tested the system in heat and cool modes. The system has a high static pressure the duct work is designed for 3.5 ton and they have a 5 tone system in place compromising the efficiency. The system produced in rage heat and cool splits. I cleared and flushed the drain line. I did find the capacitor on the outdoor unit to be below tolerance and needs to be changed out. The cfm is 5 points away from over amping this will cause the fan to fail soon. The compressor is needing a hard start kit. When the compressor starts is is 32 amps over the locked rotar amps and is damaging the compressor on heat or cool start ups. The outside unit has pretty bad corrosion setting in falling off the aluminum fins. Inspection of the duct work show multiple areas with pin hole leaks and home owner has been taping up. The duct work has lost is buoyancy in most areas and has very bad miicrocrob

On arrival customer explained to me that he heard what sounded like a loud whistle on shut down from compressor I went ahead and turned system on for 5 minutes turned off and nothing unusual I then turned system back on for approximately 15 minutes Checking pressures which were great after the 15 minute run recorded shut down and the only noise I hear is the refrigerant/compressor equalizing does sound like a whistle but customer explained it was loud told customer if he continues to hear the noise to try to record it…. Did get with Dan on a new thermostat will be back to install sometime next week told customer office will get with him to schedule a date and time
